Garrett is an international figure skating choreographer, holding a Master Rating in Choreography with US Figure Skating since 2016 and his AIT Certification since 2012. He has choreographed for national and international competitors in singles, ice dance, solo dance, synchronized skating, and Theatre on Ice. He has choreographed for international competitors in numerous countries including US, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Japan, the Netherlands, Iceland, Australia, Brazil, and Slovakia.

Garrett is Co-Executive Director of American Ice Theatre, an artistic figure skating organization founded by Jodi Porter in 2003. After being mentored by Jodi over many years, Garrett and co-executive Kate McSwain obtained leadership of the company in 2019.

AIT exists to empower and nurture authentic contemporary skating by providing opportunities for education, performance, and outreach. We achieve our mission through seminars, camps, performances, residencies, apprenticeships, and mentoring for skaters of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
